核二廠1號機30日中午傳出輔機廠房發生輻射外洩事故，導致警報持續響了整整43分鐘才停止。雖然台電事後澄清，是爐水取樣測試時不慎滴落地面蒸發，誤觸系統，絕無輻射外洩的情形，但因核二廠遲至下午快5點才以口頭方式通報新北市，引發新北市政府強烈不滿與譴責。

台電發言人林德福解釋，核二廠1號機每半年要測試一次取樣程序，不料測試過程中因管子鬆脫，導致些許爐水漏到地面上揮發，才讓警報隨之響起。不過，當台電人員一發現是管子鬆脫，就已馬上進行檢修，後續沒有再滲漏的情況，警報也停止，而台電後續將會針對此事作檢討改進。

新北市府指出，核二廠1號機在今年6月併聯發電前夕，就曾兩度傳出廠房的「流程輻射監測器」（PRM）因輻射超標發出警報。當時經台電公司與原能會說明、檢測後，雖確認環境正常未受到影響，但已引起民眾對核電廠安全的質疑。

如今事隔2個多月，核二廠廠房內的「流程輻射監測器」30日中午11點33分又再度發出警報，持續了大約43分鐘，卻直到下午快5點才以口頭通報，引發新北市政府不滿。新北市府除嚴正譴責外，目前已要求台電在新北市府核安會106年第3次委員會上說明事故始末，並加強通報機制。

將在11月11日、12日登場全球唯一亞洲場的《ARCADIA電子音樂節》就要正式入侵台北大佳河濱公園。主辦單位COSMOS LIVE!對所有環節都非常重視，從進場架設到撤場清潔，總共預計耗費11個工作天，投入500名工作人員，還搶先在11月9日舉辦百人搶先體驗會，邀請包括已經購票的100位幸運兒，搶先近距離感受大蜘蛛舞台360度的全方位震撼。

從2007年開始的《ARCADIA電子音樂節》，今年第10周年的最強場次就落在台灣，更連開2天並邀來天后蔡依林指定合作「電音王者」Hardwell在內的8組世界級百大冠軍DJ，主辦單位為了帶給台灣電音樂迷一個更健康、好玩的電子音樂節，還耗費7個月時間與台北市14個相關公部門單位聯繫溝通，投保了2日最高理賠金額5億新台幣的高額保單。

在這8組世界級百大冠軍DJ中，來自荷蘭、有「黑暗教主」之稱的R3hab確定將在12日上場，他剛挑戰了Billboard（美國告示牌雜誌）的網路節目《1 Has 2 Go》，必須在同主題的3個選項中挑掉最不喜歡的那個。
